After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day by heading to Konigil Village. Established by the Mukhtarov brothers, the Konigil Meros Paper Factory is located in this quaint village, just a stone's throw away from Samarkand. The brothers have revived the age-old tradition of paper production, utilizing the ancestral technology of Samarkand, with each piece skilfully crafted by hand. Witness the entire paper production process unfold before your eyes as you visit the Konigil Meros Paper Factory. In addition to paper production, the Factory also specializes in other crafts. The name "Konigil" translates to "clay mine," indicating the local tradition of pottery. The surrounding area is also known for its rice cultivation and linseed oil production, which is used to prepare their distinctive pilaf. The factory even hosts masterclasses for preparing this special pilaf using linseed oil. Spend the night at your hotel in Samarkand.

Day 6SAMARKAND – JARTEPA - PENJIKENT - DUSHANBE (TAJIKISTAN)

Originally meant to be a teahouse, it now dazzles with 12 unique halls filled with local art, intricate wood carvings, stunning mosaics, and painted ceilings. It's like stepping into a fairy tale! Explore Almaty today starting at Medeu, one of the world’s most famous ice skating rinks, perched high in the mountains. Proceed on to the famous Djety-Oguz Rock, also known as the Seven Bulls Rock, a stunning red sandstone formation steeped in local legends.
