This route, dotted with quaint villages and sweeping cotton fields, is a scenic bridge between the splendors of Khiva and the timeless charm of Bukhara. we're off on a scenic 450km drive that is dotted with quaint villages and sweeping cotton fields to Bukhara, a 2,000-year-old gem on the Silk Road. This enchanting city, straight out of Arabian Nights, is bursting with culture and history. We'll start in Bukhara’s Old Town, with its central reflecting pool, domed bazaars, and iconic spots like the Kalon Assembly, Zindan Prison, and Ark Citadel. Make a stop at the Ismail Samani Mausoleum,

with its stunning brickwork. Then, we'll visit the Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, a site revered by many. Don't miss the Kukeldash Madrassah, the largest Koran school in Central Asia. As we stroll
through the cap maker and spice bazaars, take in the vibrant local life and snap some perfect Instagram shots. Conclude your day with an Instagram-worthy dining experience in one of Bukhara's most picturesque eateries, where culinary art meets ambiance. Established by the Mukhtarov brothers, the Konigil Meros Paper Factory is located in this quaint village, just a stone's throw away from Samarkand. The brothers have revived the age-old tradition of paper production, utilizing the ancestral technology of Samarkand, with each piece skilfully crafted by hand. Witness the entire paper production process unfold before your eyes as you visit the Konigil Meros Paper Factory. In addition to paper production, the Factory also specializes in other crafts. The name "Konigil" translates to "clay mine," indicating the local tradition of pottery. The surrounding area is also known for its rice cultivation and linseed oil production, which is used to prepare their distinctive pilaf. The factory even hosts masterclasses for preparing this special pilaf using linseed oil. Spend the night at your hotel in Samarkand.
